We are Caer Connection,
based in the beautiful Shropshire Hills.
We have come together through our shared passion for establishing non-judgmental spaces in which to
pause, breathe and nurture inner peace.
We encourage and explore the creativity which
can be released when people feel grounded.
Join us for workshops and projects combining
mindful movement with uplifting singing
and person-centred drama techniques.
We are especially interested in delivering work
which supports people's self esteem and wellbeing through juxtaposing different art forms and disciplines.

Kate Buttolph
is a community artist who works with choirs and singing for wellbeing groups across the country. She is also a composer and writer for theatre and live literature and is training to become a person-centred counsellor. In her spare time she enjoys writing poetry and making mosaics.

Kathryn Lewis
is an experienced teacher focussed on special needs, with a degree in drama. She volunteers for Caer Connection, enjoys documenting creative projects and is a passionate advocate for equality and inclusion, especially for neurodiverse people. She likes photography
and walking with her dog.

Nancy Lowe
is a yoga instructor, with a gentle, trauma informed approach, integrating embodied movements to restore a sense of inner strength and groundedness. She is also
a qualified Somatic Mindfulness Coach.
She loves country walks, pottering about the garden and live music.

A recent event:
Thanks to the lovely group who joined us for
this creative day. We will be running this event again so please get in touch if you would like to be added to the mailing list.

Here is a snapshot of our multi disciplinary approach.
We sang together, moved, visualised and wrote, culminating
in the group poem you see below.

Comments from participants:

through a day of self-reflection and community creation. Thanks to this Therapeutic Trio."
"Each element offered something different which appealed to different senses and I was surprised how relaxing it was."
“I valued time to be me and to breathe. Time to be outdoors and calm. Time to spend with others. Time to reflect.”
"It was lovely and I'm really glad I came. The venue was perfect - great room [and] lovely outside space.
The day was well planned and well paced. You all seemed relaxed and enjoying the event."
